In order to react to unexpected safety accidents, make timely and effective rescue, and limit mortality and loss to the minimum, the Company's safety group made an ammonia leak response rehearsal in the ammonia machine plant.

Cued by an immaginary ammonia leakage caused by a worn valve gasket in the high pressure ammonia storage tank, two rescue teams immediately put on protective suits, entered the leakage site, closed the valve, turned on the showering device on the ammonia storage tank, while another team used fire fighting nozzles to cool the ammonia storage tank and dilute ammonia in the air.

The rehearsal verified the feasibility of the response plan, and raised safety awareness across the company. Safety group director Xia saw and guided the rehearsal.
