On the night of Nov 21st, Actress Huang Yi invited “Chef God of Asia” Jiang Zhencheng and famous Yangtze South chef Yu Bin to cohost a Yi-dong Sports Foundation charity banquet, as a thank you to donors who contributed in building sport facilities in schools of under-developed regions.
Yi-dong Sports Charity Foundation is China’s first foundation crossing sports and entertainment worlds. The non-profit public welfare foundation was created by Ms. Huang Yi and her friends, and Shanghai Sports Development Foundation. Ms. Huang says the in the past nine years the money donated by her and raised from the public has helped to build sport facilities for schools in more than ten provinces including Tibet, Qinghai, Yunan, Hubei and Hebei. She says she hopes to bring each child the fun of sports.
Ms.Huang invited Jiang Zhencheng who was chosen to be “the greatest chef around the Indian Ocean” by the Times to direct the banquet. Jiang’s host restaurant Singapore Restaurant is a Michelin 3-star restaurant, and ranks No. 2 on the “Asia’s Top 50 Restaurant” list.
The classic caviar dishes created by the two chefs amazed the guests with its unique taste which enlightens senses and manifests Kaluga Queen’s craftsman spirit.
Xunlong’s vice president Han Lei was invited to the banquet, During the opening ceremony he gave Jiang Zhencheng and Huang Yi the rare Kaluga Queen golden caviar as a gift, and made a presentation of caviar culture and the company’s brand story.
Accompanied by interlacing lamplights and enchanting music, guests kept on finding lovely surprises. The dinning experience was truly a feast of visual and gustatory art.
