Xunlong’s new processing center which was put to use in 2012 has a floor area of 5000 m2, making it the biggest caviar processing plant in Asia with the most advanced technology and equipment. The plant’s annual capacity of sturgeon meat production is over 3000 ton.
Aside from widely approved by wholesale customers all over the world, Xunlong’s caviar products are warmly loved by Michelin star restaurants. Its caviar is supplied to first class cabins of the Lufthansa Airlines, and made it to state banquets of the Hangzhou G20 summit. Xunlong’s sturgeon meat products are exported to many countries including Germany, the U.S., Denmark, Israel, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Georgia, etc.
Russia is the biggest sturgeon meat consumer in the world and has a long history and well rooted tradition of eating sturgeon. Xunlong was granted the certificate to export sturgeon meat to the Russian Federation countries in April 2015, Even as of today, Xunlong is still the only company in China with certification of exporting sturgeon meat to the Russian Federation.
Russian customers love sturgeon meat products from Xunlong, and believe they have the taste like “wild sturgeon caught in the Caspian Sea” from memory. Xunlong’s sturgeon meat exportation to Russia has increased from 200 ton in year 2015 to 600 ton in year 2017.
The drastic increase was a result of continuous improvement in product quality and service as well as proactive customer development.
As the Russian economy gradually stabilizes, its demand for quality products increased. Additionally, with the Russian government’s control over smuggled products, grey-customs trade is about to come to an end, creating a good opportunity for Xunlong to develop the Russian market.
