Hot smoking plant expanded to increase capacity

    Hot smoked sturgeon meat has always been a kind of high end food in western cuisine. There’s less smoked sturgeon in the market than smoked salmon, but smoked sturgeon has a higher price: for example in Europe, smoked salmon is about 100 Euro/kg, while smoked sturgeon is about 120 Euro/kg.

    China on the other hand doesn’t have a convention of eating smoked sturgeon. Xunlong started to produce the product since 2013. After a few years of cultivation, the Chinese market begins to accept the product. The company then expanded its hot smoke production line which was put to use recently.

    The product line uses Maurer-atmos automatic cold/hot smoking room imported from Germany and beech wood friction smoking equipment imported from France to ensure authentic flavor of smoked sturgeon.
