Xunlong employs innovative marketing strategy

Xunlong is a joint venture company that integrates sturgeon breeding, aquaculture, processing, sale and marketing, and culture promotion. It raises “live fossil”- sturgeon, produces caviar and sturgeon meat products, creates and promotes sturgeon cuisine culture, as well as safe, nutritious, tasty and fashionable living experience.

 After years of research, Xunlong solved a series of key technical difficulties in the full sturgeon industry chain of “breeding, propagation, aquaculture, processing, and production”. Along the way, the company was awarded many state level prizes including the 2008 Ministry of Agriculture “China Agriculture Science and Technology” Second Prize, the 2009 “State Sci-tech Progress” Second Prize, and State Agricultural Technological Innovation Example, etc. More importantly, Xunlong found an effective way to promote its products in the market – the “Banquets’ Top Choice – Finding Kaluga Queen in Qiandao Lake” campaign.

  Products of high quality always shine no matter what.  Xunlong started to invite domestic and overseas media, strategic clients, world famous chefs and entrepreneurs to visit its farms and production plants. Times and the Daily Telegraph came and made in-depth report of the company. A few days ago, a new customer from Belgium was highly impressed with the visiting trip and is hopeful for future cooperation with the company.

 Famous Michelin 3-star chef Bruno Menard gave high praises to Kaluga Queen caviar and the company after a “Finding Kaluga Queen” trip. Other visitors include Famous Chinese chef Li Yaoyun, Thai Chef Association group led by Thai Royal Chef Mr. Kent, executive director of VisMarketing in Singapore Mr. Pan Weiming. They all fell in love with Kaluga Queen caviar after the trip.  

Caviar lovers came to Qiandao lake, to observe our ecological farming environment, walk into our processing plant to watch the caviar production, taste varieties of our caviar in the sun room while getting familiar with the story of Kaluga Queen brand. It was our pleasure to host them, and it also filled us with great pride to be able to spread the Kaluga Queen story and spirit to friends from all over the world.

Kaluga Queen’s caviar production is monitored with EU sanitation control system. All batches of products made customs clearance safely in the past ten years. Aside from appearing on the tables of 21 out of 26 Michelin 3-star restaurants in Paris, kaluga Queen caviar is also choice of Alain Ducasse’ Monaco flagship restaurant, Oscars banquet, and state banquet of 2016 G20 summit in Hangzhou, and the star on the menu of Lufthansa first class cabin.

Having been world No. 1 for the past 3 years of caviar output and export, Kaluga Queen is by far the biggest sturgeon farming and caviar producing brand. As the company’s products are gradually approved by the market and its production volume keeps growing, the company continues to hold on to the philosophy of species conservation, environment protection, and harmonic development with the nature, and aims to lead the China sturgeon industry in healthy and sustainable development.
