Key state research achievement application program co-hosted by Xunlong passes review

On Jul 3rd, Ministry of Agriculture Department of Science and Education organized a review meeting on State Key Program “Sturgeon Breeding and Farming Industrialization Technology Achievement Application”, which was co-hosted by Xunlong. The meeting was attended by 9 institutes/companies that took part in the Program, as well as over 20 reviewing specialists from Beijing Agriculture and Forrestry Academy, Ministry of Water Works Chinese Academy of Science Water Project Ecology Institute, Beijing Fishery Technology Promotion Station, Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences Yangtse River Institute, Fishery Engineering Institute, Shanghai University of Ocean, Hubei Normal College, National Fishery Technology Promotion Station, and Zhejiang Ocean and Fishery Bureau. 

On the review meeting, Xunlong general manager and Program director Wang Bin gave a presentation on the implementation of the program, followed by sub topic reports given by respective topic leaders. The specialists asked questions about sturgeon breeding, farming, processing technique, sturgeon industry, and financial status of the Program, and believed all technical and economic criteria of the Program contract were met, and unanimously agreed on passing the review.

Sturgeon Breeding and Farming Industrialization Technology Achievement Application is a key state technology application program approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information and Ministry of Finance in 2012. The program was hosted by Ministry of Agriculture Department of Science and Education, and Hangzhou Qiandaohu Xunlong Sci-tech Co. Ltd., and jointly carried out by another 8 companies/institutes with technology advantages in sturgeon industry. The success of the program elevated the overall technology level in Chinese sturgeon industry, and has great significance in the fast, healthy and sustainable development of Xunlong.
